03 / Your context
Find the words that matter.
Search the meetings stored in MumbleFlow by phrase or meaning. Open a result at its transcript timestamp, and play the source audio while it’s retained.
Ranked results work without a generative model. Apple Intelligence or optional local Qwen can answer from retrieved evidence. Gmail, Calendar, and Slack connections aren’t enabled in this release.

Local is the point
Your thoughts.
On your computer.
Recognition, writing cleanup, speaker analysis, meeting notes, embeddings, search, and answers run on your Mac after model setup. The desktop app has no account, analytics SDK, cloud content server, or cloud sync.
Sensitive records use AES-GCM encryption. Dictation audio is discarded after processing, except for optional diagnostics. Meeting audio expires after 30 days. Transcripts and notes stay until you delete them.
You’ll need internet for purchase, app and model downloads, and updates. Text you insert into another app follows that app’s privacy rules. Clipboard managers and syncing can also move copied text.

A few things to know
Good questions.
What does MumbleFlow do?+
MumbleFlow is a native Mac app with two connected workflows: polished system-wide voice dictation and Oat meeting notes. It turns natural speech into finished writing, records meetings only when you ask it to, and keeps transcripts, summaries, and search on your Mac.
How does MumbleFlow improve voice typing?+
It transcribes speech with an on-device Parakeet model, then uses Apple Intelligence or an optional local Qwen model for longer dictation. The cleanup removes fillers and abandoned restarts, catches explicit corrections, adds punctuation and paragraphs, and formats clearly introduced tasks as numbered lists while protecting names, numbers, links, and meaning.
Can MumbleFlow take meeting notes?+
Yes. Oat explicitly records your microphone and selected computer audio without retaining video, builds a timestamped transcript, separates remote speakers, and creates cited topics, timelines, decisions, action items, and open questions. What did I miss? summarizes the preceding five minutes while recording continues.
Does MumbleFlow work offline?+
Core dictation, transcription, polishing, meeting summaries, and meeting search run on the Mac after required models are installed. Internet access is still needed for purchase, model and app downloads, and software updates. Gmail, Calendar, and Slack connections are not enabled in the current download.
Which computers does MumbleFlow support?+
The current app is for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later. Intel Macs, Windows, Linux, iPhone, and Android are not supported in this release.
Can MumbleFlow type into other apps?+
MumbleFlow is designed to insert the finished result into the text field focused when processing ends, including native Mac apps and browser editors. It also saves the result to the clipboard and can retain it in encrypted Dictation History. Individual websites or apps can still impose their own input behavior.
How long does MumbleFlow keep my data?+
Dictation audio is discarded after processing unless you explicitly enable the latest-test diagnostic recording. Dictation text is kept for seven days by default unless history is disabled or an entry is pinned. Encrypted meeting audio expires after 30 days, while transcripts and cited notes remain until you delete them.
How much does MumbleFlow cost?+
The website currently offers MumbleFlow for a $5 one-time purchase with no recurring app subscription.
